However, with Prince Albert still struggling to find a role for himself there is an inevitable power struggle between husband and wife.Dame Diana Rigg will play the Duchess of Bucchleuch, the young Queen’s new Mistress of the Robes, who is renowned for speaking her mind. 李翰祥执导的《佛跳墙》共有四个单元，首个故事是描述一对母子因施予济公一碗豆浆而逃过丧命之危；其二则说济公帮助卖菜汉，逃离高利贷者的滋扰；其三则写济公以樱桃化夜明珠，将大盗教训一顿；最末一则是描写济公以巧计捉弄胡作非为的相爷父子。李翰祥借济公的善行，针贬权贵恶霸的种种恶行，为平民大众吐一口乌气。
