小贱星弟结束了咖啡店打工后，带着KENT回到了学校。他们在学校的死党丽君惹到了冠军团队A4，丽君冲动的脱口而出：A4很了不起，我还X5呢！就是因为这句话，小K星弟小贱丽君悠悠几个散兵组成了一个团队X5，跟A4进行了几轮比拼。他们经历了各种非人的训练，从体能到专业训练。最终终于获胜，并且成功的被唱片公司签约，他们开始的时候陶醉其中——糊里糊涂的竟然当上了艺人。在训练以及做艺人的过程中，小K和悠悠，星弟和丽君慢慢产生了感情。但是他们慢慢的发现，自己被公司已经包装的远离本性，并且做艺人有太多的规定，太多的限制。他们想解约——解约要每人500万的费用。他们只能忍着，终于在一次录音的时候，星弟爆发了，大家决定打死也不能当这该死的艺人了。经纪人看出他们去意已决，妥协说如果你们能找到顶替你们的团队，就放你们一条生路。他们顺理成章的找到了A4，用各种利诱述说做艺人的种种好处，A4本意就是想成名。于是大家各取所需，X5回归了校园，继续起了散兵游勇式的生活，A4也成为国内红极一时的团体。
