ABC喜剧《格尔伯格一家 The Goldbergs》曾经在16年开发衍生剧但没获预订，而电视网在美国时间1月24日放出拍好的试映集后（S05E00 「1990 Something」那集），倒是因为反应良好令ABC决定改变主意预订该衍生剧，现定于19年1月9日首播，由《格尔伯格一家》前导。
