《新兵日记之特战英雄》（英文：Rookies' Diary）为新兵日记之续集。2011年台湾偶像剧，由民视制作、播出，国防部协助拍摄。该剧于2011年4月开拍，并于2011年4月22日首播，采边拍边播形式。挟著《新兵日记》的高收视，民视于2010年12月决议开拍新兵续集，剧名暂定为《新兵日记２》，并订于2011年3月正式开拍，并接续《新兵日记》后播出。由于《新兵日记》主要演员将出演民视备档戏《父与子》及《廉政英雄》，因此无法续演，为此制作单位招募新演员加入。原属意任容萱出演女主角，但任爸不愿女儿冒险，因此决定辞演。 女主角生变，再加上传出国防部不愿支援拍摄《新兵日记２》，使得原本三月开拍在即的《新兵日记２》， 延至四月才正式开拍，而女主角一职仍由刘香慈担任，并将《新兵日记２》正式定名为《新兵日记之特战英雄》。
