本片围绕五位原本对跳台滑雪一无所知的少年，讲述了一段为争取申奥举办地而刻苦训练见证彼此成长的青春励志故事。
1996年，为了承办冬季奥运会，韩国全罗北道抚州正在紧锣密鼓地筹备着。然而国际奥委会发来通知，由于抚州从来没有参与跳台滑雪项目，若没有队伍参加滑雪比赛将取消举办资格。组织委员会一时间乱作一团，他们决定立即组建跳台滑雪国家队。慌乱之中，他们临时召集了五位对跳台滑雪一无所知的“国家代表”：从小被美国人收养回国寻找生母的鲍勃（河正宇 饰），性格冲动的俱乐部服务生洪哲（金东旭 饰），对父亲言听计从的懦弱男孩在北（崔在焕 饰），以及想借机逃过兵役的七久（金基石 饰）和他的弟弟锋久（李在应 饰）。在不合格的前任儿童滑雪教练方钟三（成东日 饰）的带领下，五位性格迥异的少年开始了一番艰苦训练。
