该剧改编自爱奇艺文学小说《金主大人请自重》，讲述京城首富千金叶小棠花车抢亲“赖”上冷峻探花郎慕谨言，同时结识“无宠皇子”凌子然，三人组成欢喜冤家，屡破奇案的故事。
