本作品是以在中坚饮料制造商的长期工作、开朗可爱的上班族猿川健太为主人公的美食喜剧。描绘了从大阪总公司满怀期待调到东京分公司的猿川，和古怪的人们一起追求“激辣道=激辣辣辣道”，并成长起来的模样。
