40岁的甜点师乡田飞鸟，经营一家甜品店，与比她小的甜点师花田圣矢和想要成为甜点师的权田健一一起工作。一天，花田圣矢向乡田飞鸟告白。这使她想起了五年前的糟糕会议。当时，她的男朋友是一名健身教练，但是她却和店长产生了暧昧关系。乡田飞鸟决定前往神秘的恋爱诊所寻求帮助，而这家诊所能够利用基因测试，帮助顾客了解爱情中所需知道的一切。
