《大理公主》讲述的是在辛亥革命前后这个风云际会的年代里，充满仇恨的阿细，在向大理首富段沐海报复杀母之仇的过程中，不断沉沦和迷失，最终幡然悔悟，在对付瘟疫的战斗中，不幸牺牲；以及段沐海的女儿艾月，面对动荡的时代，面对结义姐妹阿细对自己家庭的报复，始终充满乐观、善良和宽容，从一个四体不勤、五谷不分的娇小姐渐渐成长，终于成为一个成熟、机智、胸襟开阔的女性。

为纪念改革开放30周年，为新中国成立60周年献礼，日前，由中共重庆市委宣传部、湖南电广传媒股份有限公司、北京星联国际文化传媒有限公司、重庆笛女阿瑞斯影视传媒共同投资千万拍摄的30集电视连续剧《许茂和他的女儿们》在四川宜宾江安县蟠龙乡共同村顺利开机。据悉，该剧90%的镜头将在蟠龙乡拍摄，计划4月20日完成在蟠龙的拍摄任务，6月底完成全剧拍摄。该剧是根据四川已故农民作家周克芹写作的反映四川本土题材的同名小说改编。《许茂和他的女儿们》曾在上世纪80年代轰动一时，不仅获得首届茅盾文学奖，还被两度改编成同名电影并家喻户晓。并因八一电影制片厂和北影厂争拍《许茂和他的女儿们》，曾让中国电影界下了“双黄蛋”，而李秀明（四姑娘）、王馥荔（四姑娘）、刘晓庆、斯琴高娃、张金玲、李凤绪、赵娜、周宏等一大批明星，都成为了许茂的“女儿”。据悉，如今，旧片将拍成新的电视连续剧，已被作为全国献礼改革开放三十周年和建国六十周年的50部重点剧目之一。
