《天龙号醒来》系列大电影共分五部，分别是《唤醒天龙》、《异能陷阱》、《黑暗七日》、《流星瀑布》、《返航迷途》。 系列电影的整体背景讲述了天龙星座一号飞船，被敌人击沉于地球海底火山口三百年后，突然被黑洞能量唤醒，寻找失落在地球上的后裔的故事。故事主线则是讲述五个天龙人，如何三百年间在地球生存，如何与敌对星球人作战，拯救地球爆炸危机，帮助飞船重返故乡的惊心动魄的过程。整个故事在大悲剧的框架下，充满了爆笑的喜剧色彩，既有尖锐的人性化揭示，又有悲伤和感动的大人文情怀。 “天龙号醒来”系列电影的第一部。魔术师章渔（曲吉让步饰），作为天龙使者，在地球上经历过五次死亡，一直等待天龙黑洞爆发给予启示，从而找到五个助手，集齐六人能量，获取到飞船的确切位置，把一号飞船唤醒并离开海底。当章渔分别找到替身演员成红（吕晶饰）、流浪艺人疯马（张德翰夫饰）、流氓商人肖红袖（许小行饰）、三流作家张衣衣（赵明川饰）之后，误把恋人花店女邱琳（赵伲僮饰）激活，当成了第五个助手。事实上，邱琳是敌对星球留下的后裔，目的正是消灭天龙座α星的使者章渔。章渔一错再错，六人聚合能量之后，一号飞船猝然离开火山口，引发了地球爆炸危机，章渔也将死于恋人之手。
