《真爱我做主》节目公开招募了7位未婚女青年，集结成6类极具社会代表性的未婚女性典型，并对她们进行了10个月的跟踪拍摄，没有摄影棚、没有主持人，摄影机真实记录并呈现了这六类人面对相亲作何反应，又是如何活出自我，成就完美蜕变。
