本作品是一部讲述主人公·女高中生·谷田纯为了修正被篡改的历史而追溯到过去，追寻着解开暗号的样子的科幻喜剧。西历2520年，不明身份的网络恐怖分子入侵了历史，过去的伟人们被从历史上抹杀，现代世界卷入了大战爆发。为了修正过去的错误，使历史恢复原样，纯和同学江畑过去穿越，尝试解读作为bug的“暗号=谜”。
