奥斯卡提名编剧杰夫·波普(Jeff Pope)将为ITV制作四集迷你剧《隔离故事》，讲述不同家庭在隔离期间的经历。由于英国政府现有的管制，该剧也将成为第一部在社交隔离下完成的电视剧，演员都将在自己家中完成拍摄。
侨居法国的华藉私家侦探马力某次受富商卓越的委托替其找回流落上海多年的女儿卓宁，越交给力唯一的线索只是宁的一个电邮地址和透露宁曾表示要到上海，解开母亲临终时所说的一句找寻“海角红楼”的秘密，但是并没有人知道“海角红楼”是什么。
承接上辑情节，DIE在朗领导下，屡破奇案，最终得以“光荣解散”，除了晶晶暂放产假、费SIR退休回到老家苏格兰外，其余众人亦重返以前之工作岗位。不过，众人骑呢性格、作风不变，继续令上司们头痛不已，于工作上备受排斥！
