一位志愿者老师在一次不幸的事故中丧生，她的心脏被移植给Tian。通过一系列的日记，Tian知道了她的生活、秘密和兴趣。包括她对Phupha军官的一起数一千颗星星的承诺。Tian决定跟随她的脚步并完成她的梦想。成为一名新的志愿者老师的Tian，想和Phupha交朋友。但是，Phupha散发出一个冰冷的外表。慢慢地两个人渐渐靠近，但是Tian的心脏在军官旁边时就跳得很快。当他开始爱上他时，就像以前心脏已故的主人一样。但是，在这个充满战争和危险的地区，他们能够兑现数一千颗星星的承诺吗？
