这是一个痛苦、飘摇而又美丽的故事。漂亮能干的林幻是NASA俱乐部策划部主管，她的丈夫李宾曾是一名优秀的小提琴手，却不幸在一次医疗事故中成了植物人。俱乐部调音师祖强对林幻一往情深，但林幻却不敢接受。一天，装修工程公司总经理梁天成来到俱乐部，与林幻舞后颇有好感。新的不幸降临到林幻头上，乐团因经济拮据无法交付李宾巨额医疗费。林幻走投无路，祖强变卖物产，冒险去作替身演员，还做假古董生意为林幻筹款，但仍无法凑齐这笔款，林幻在感动中投入祖强的怀抱。梁天成为林幻拿出了维持李宾生命的二十万巨款，作为代价林幻走进了梁天成的别墅。雨夜梁天成驾马去俱乐部，发现紧紧拥抱的祖强和林幻，他的心非常痛苦，但决定不去乾涉。祖强为了“赎”回林幻，辞职当了包工头，梁天成暗中帮助祖强，使祖强体面的挣到了钱，并接走了林幻。林幻在离开孤独而又大度的梁天成和天真可爱的小婷婷时内心突然涌出了巨大的惆怅和愧疚。林幻心管十分为难，还是与李宾离婚，当她与祖强准备结婚时医院来了通知，李宾苏醒了。祖强虽深爱林幻，但知道林幻和李宾曾……
